Chase + Tessa

1,073 miles. That is how far Chase and Tessa DROVE to get to here from Michigan…just for this engagement session! Can you believe it?! I’m so thankful to have amazing clients like Tessa and Chase 💕We really got to know these two a few summers ago when Chase was Eli’s student ministry intern- he was a huge help! Eli loved having him around. We got to hang out with Chase and Tessa when she came into town a few times that summer…

Now fast forward a couple years and they are getting married 👰🏻🤵🏼

This past Monday we were able to meet up with these two love birds in St Augustine. They had never been there before, so of course we loved showing them around and taking them to Prohibition Kitchen for dinner before the shoot 😋 We joked about the session being like a treasure hunt because we just walked around and found cute backdrops for each shot.

You’ll see quickly that Tessa and Chase are pretty much smitten with one another ❤️So. much. laughter! We started the session with them getting Mayday ice cream- that place was super adorable!! They had some cute sprinkles on the windows and paintings on the walls. The workers there were really nice, too. I’m excited to go there and grab some ice cream next time I’m in St Aug 🍦

After we had the first half of our session in the downtown area, we actually went over to Anastasia State Park for the rest of our shoot. Such a gorgeous spot! When you see the end of our shoot..you’ll realize how laid back and fun this couple is 😜 When I asked them to get in the water, they were like “oh yeah..we were already planning on it!” and it was totally worth it!! Not to mention the sunset was to die for…everything at the end of the session worked out perfectly.

Now I’ll stop talking and let you see for yourself…

Chase and Tessa,

Thank you for driving ALL the way down here for your engagement session…to say that I had a blast was an understatement! You guys are awesome and I can’t wait until your big day next May 😘Drive home safe today and enjoy your previews!

Until next time…
