A Royal Wedding

Jacob + Rebekah

Jacob and Rebekah's wedding day can definitely be summed up as a "royal wedding". Everything from glitter on Bekah's wedding dress to the gorgeous reception (the centerpieces were to DIE for 😍), made the day truly feel like it was fit for a princess. You guys...All of the details from this wedding will give you all of the heart eyes. Make sure you check out some of the bridal details in the photos, Bekah was a gorgeous bride! Jake and his bride decided they wanted to have their first look and bridal party portraits at the IU Memorial Union. This "castle" like feel was perfect to continue their theme for this wedding!

These high school sweethearts were more than ready to tie the knot. I loved seeing how comfortable they were with one another because of their history (just check out their questionnaire below). One aspect they were excited about with the day was to see their adorable niece and nephew, Ivy and Liam, all dressed up and walking down the isle. You can tell that they are crazy about being an aunt and uncle- especially when they danced with Liam on the dance floor at their reception. The WHOLE evening!

During the reception Jake and Bekah had a photo booth...with a polaroid camera! They had guests take a photo and then place it in a photo album with a sweet note. It is always so fun to see creative guest book ideas..Of course I was a big fan 😉

This wedding was a hit with the fun couple, perfect sunny day, and a live band at the reception 🥂Check out more photos from this awesome day below...

How did you two meet?

HIS Answer: Elementary school

HER Answer: Went to the same school our whole lives, but do not have any vivid memories until 2nd grade when he was my first crush.

Proposal Story?
Family and Jake made Bekah think they were having a going away party/graduation party/birthday party. Bekah opened a gift from Jake that had a wood sign in it. The sign said “I love that you’re going to be my wife”. Jake then had a little speech, got down on one knee, and popped the question. Jake almost dropped the ring off the deck, but Bekah grabbed it and put it on herself.

Jake lied to Bekah while shopping for the ring. Jake told Bekah that he had to take his grandma places (like the grocery store) because she had recently broken her femur.
