Finally Ferguson

Mr and Mrs Ferguson

What a way to start out 2019 with this laid back and fun wedding 🖤At the beginning of the year, my friend Kalee contacted me about capturing her destination wedding in St Augustine, FL. I was equally surprised and SO so excited to book a wedding super close to the actual date! Not only did we plan the photo details of their wedding, but we also were able to book their engagement session while they were in town as well 💍✨

Grant and Kalee’s wedding day was so unique, and it exemplified who they are as a couple, perfectly! Everything from Kalee’s custom made wedding dress, to having a first look at the camp ground they stayed at, or even having a small and intimate amount of guests…it was all so beautiful and fun 🥂

This sweet couple enjoys camping in their spare time, which helped us decide have their “first look” at the place they camped at all week leading up to the wedding. This was something very special for Grant, and with Kalee’s laid back personality, we HAD to make it happen! I’m just thankful that they are both troopers and were willing to pose in the middle of a dirt road for me…I couldn’t pass up a beautiful tree covered road as a backdrop 😍

One of my favorite parts of the day was their ceremony! Kalee’s grandfather was their officiant, which made it that more special. I loved how their wedding day was full of sentimental value…even down to the location. One of Grant and Kalee’s first dates was in St Augustine. How cute is that?! These two love birds were a pleasure to work with. I hope you can see that through the photos from their big day!

Check them out below…

Kalee and Grant,

I was thrilled to take photos of such a special day for you two, thank you for letting me be apart of it! Also, thank you for allowing the day be such a laid back one…you guys are the bomb 💣

Until next time…

XOXO, Natalie

A Stroll in the Park

Grant + Kalee

Meet Kalee and Grant ❤️I went to high school with Kalee, so it was a joy when she contacted me a few weeks ago to capture her destination wedding. While planning her wedding day, we also were able to set a date for some last minute engagement photos while they were in town! It was a blast getting to shoot an engagement session again, but also catch up with an old friend at the same time 🙌🏻

Grant and Kalee met some time ago through mutual friends in Tampa. After some years of a long distance relationship, they decided to move to Georgia together. One of the first places that was significant early on in their relationship was St Augustine, so it was neat for them to plan a destination wedding there as well! You could tell that this laid back couple was ready to spend the weekend with their family and friends while they finally tied the knot 💍✨

For their engagement session, these love birds drove to Jacksonville so we could meet up at Walter Jones Park. This place was perfect for them! We were all excited about how low key, and rustic it turned out to be. Not to mention…the lighting and weather were beautiful, too ☀️

Check out more of this sweet couple below…

Grant + Kalee,

Thank you guys for driving all the way to Jacksonville for our session together! You two were a blast to spend time with, and I’m thankful the evening turned out to be so perfect.

Until next time…

XOXO, Natalie

Boss Babes

Noell Jett and Jessica Davis

Do you remember my sweet friends, Noell and Jess? Noell is the proud owner of the Jett Set Farmhouse blog, and Jess is the owner of this gorgeous home on Carcaba Road 🏠 If you click the link on Noell’s name, you can read more on the story of how our path’s crossed. I’m so thankful to have met these ladies! Now I can call these two beautiful boss babes my friends 💕

This past week, we met up at Jess’ house on Carcaba road to take some updated headshots for Noell’s blog and social media presence. As you can tell below, Noell is gorgeous and made my job so easy! I’m obsessed with her carefully planned out outfits and accessories for our shots. We definitely had fun using different parts of this home for our shoot…we were like kids in a candy store 😍I loved that we even were able to talk Jess into jumping into the scene for some updated head shots as well. As you can tell below, she rocked it!

Hanging around these ladies is always informational for me. Both of them are killing it on the instagram game, so of course I always try to pick up some tips from them when we are together. I’m so lucky to have a job that connects me with so many wonderful people…especially when it involves some girl time during a photo session! 🙌🏻

Noell and Jess,

I’m so thankful to call you two ladies my friends! Our session this week was a blast, and I can’t wait to get together again.

Until next time…

XOXO, Natalie

All the Feels

Jordan and Bailey

The title of this blog post totally exemplifies the overall feeling of this engagement session 😍Jordan and Bailey just got engaged the day after Christmas, and the excitement was written ALL over their faces! When I was contacted about shooting their engagement photos, I was more than thrilled. These two were so sweet to meet and work with 💕

Jordan and Bailey have known one another since high school, but finally reconnected at church last year and started dating right away. Last week was their year anniversary of dating, and Jordan popped the question 💍Bailey goes to school in Gainesville, FL and Jordan goes to school in Knoxville, TN (my alma mater- woot!) so you can imagine how excited they are to get married and finally be together.

We met in downtown St Augustine for their engagement session, and it was perfect! There were lots of tourists walking around…but who can blame them?! The Christmas lights are all still up on the palm trees and it looks so magical 🌴The three of us took our time walking around the area (they were so patient with their pregnant photographer 😜), and it was a blast!

I hope you enjoy their session as much as I did…

Jordan and Bailey,

I’m so thankful that you contacted me to capture this special time in your lives! You two were a blast to work with and I’m so excited for this next stage in your relationship. Thank you for making our session fun and not walking too fast 😂👌🏻Good luck with your school semester and wedding planning!

Until next time…

XOXO, Natalie
