Capturing Memories
all ages + walks of lifeMy goal as a photographer is to create a relationship with my clients. I love to be apart of intimate moments within a family while watching them grow. As a mom, I know how fleeting these moments can be. Whether it's feeling baby kicks, watching siblings bond, or even getting your extended family together once a year. Let's be intentional with the time that we have because your moment matters!
here's a peek at what you can expect
01.
After our initial email exchange, I'll send you a booklet filled with all of the info you'll need! This will help get to know me better and also guide you in picking a package that best fits your family.
02.
Once you've read through the family booklet, we will start our planning journey. Based on the package you choose, this will help us narrow down a date on the calendar and location for the session. Whether you are wanting to capture milestones of your new baby or update your family photos for Christmas cards, we will dream out the session together!
03.
This is my favorite part! My prayer is that you can sit back and relax during your session. The flow is always laid back, while I have a plan in the back of my mind. I like to sit on the sidelines and allow you to interact with your people- unscripted moments are often the best ones! But don't worry, I will always help direct if needed ;) 3-4 weeks later, you'll receive a finished photo gallery in your email. This will allow you to download your images, share to social media, and even order prints straight to your home. YAY!
FAQ
How do we go about picking a location?
This is one of my favorite parts of our journey together- dreaming up the details of your session! We will chat through some of my favorite spots in Savannah to go to, as well as your overall vision for your session. This will help us decide which spot fits your family best!
Do you help with outfit ideas?
I love to help with picking outfits for sessions- If you are needing an opinion or suggestion, I'm just a call/text away! It's important to consider the season your session is in and also the location you are planning to go to. Often times this helps you narrow down your choices for color schemes and styles.
The name of the game is coordination. Rather than being too "matchy", this helps to give your photos some depth without blending in too much with your family members. When in doubt, try to stick with two neutrals and a color pop!
What if we have never met?
My goal is to create relationships with every family I work with. I consider it an honor to capture such intimate moments of your sweet family! As we start to communicate, I try to be intentional with the questions I ask you about your family dynamics. This will give me a better idea on how to best serve you in this process!
How do you handle sessions with littles?
As a mom of two toddlers myself, I know first hand how unpredictable a session can be with littles. This is why I aim to be so laid back in my family sessions. We try to get more of our formal shots right off the bat- this is when they normally are willing to sit still. After we get those shots, I try to finish up our session with more candid shots. I love to let kiddos play because that is when we usually get the sweetest moments and best smiles out of them!
Do you offer milestone sessions for maternity and baby?
I DO! I know how special it can be to capture every milestone through pregnancy and the first year of a baby. It's so fun to watch these sweet kiddos grow and I cherish getting to witness those moments!
What are your newborn sessions like?
My newborn sessions have more of a lifestyle feel to them- lots of snuggle time and detailed shots. Normally I try to have the session within the first two weeks after the baby arrives, because they grow so fast in the beginning.
Often times I try to do the session inside of your home, because this allows for you and baby to be in your comfortable space. If there isn't a nursery available in your home, that is totally okay! As long as we have a comfy couch and some window light, we will have all we need to get some gorgeous shots of that sweet babe.
